CEA We Are CEA CEA advocates for teachers and public education. We’ve been a driving force in lobbying legislators for the resources public schools need and campaigning for high standards for teachers and students. Our proud history spans more than 150 years. Learn More CEA Representative Assembly The CEA Representative Assembly (RA), held each May, is CEA’s highest policy-making body. Committees and Commissions Membership involvement is vital to CEA’s mission. As a member of a CEA commission or committee, you are part of the process. Connecticut Education Foundation CEF is a non-profit, charitable foundation that was established in 1991 to help teachers and children with extraordinary personal hardships and students planning teaching careers. Elections CEA is a democratic organization. Our members play an important role in determining the direction and focus of the Association through several elected governing bodies.
